1. Agreement & Eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME] ("Cnct," "we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Cnct service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and, if you are using Cnct on behalf of a business, that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. The Service

Cnct lets you connect your Instagram professional account (via Meta's Instagram API with Instagram Login) and configure automations: when someone comments on your Instagram post — optionally matching keywords you choose — Cnct posts a public reply to that comment and sends the commenter a private reply DM, using Meta's official API.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at audubonaudioshop@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You are solely responsible for the content of your automations — your keyword rules, public replies, and DM templates. You agree not to use Cnct to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used to violate these rules or to abuse the service.

4. Third-Party Platform Disclaimer

Cnct is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. "Instagram" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

The service depends on Meta's APIs, which Meta may change, restrict, rate-limit, or revoke at any time, without notice to us. We are not liable for any Meta-side changes, restrictions, or actions taken against your Instagram account, including but not limited to rate limiting, feature removal, API downtime, or account flags or suspensions imposed by Meta or Instagram.

By connecting your Instagram account, you authorize us to act on that account through Meta's API on your behalf, strictly to carry out the automations you configure.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal

Cnct offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (Pro and Agency). Paid plans are sold and billed through Lemon Squeezy, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, who handles payment and applicable sales tax.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly) at the then-current price shown at checkout, and will continue to renew — and your payment method will continue to be charged — until you cancel.

How to cancel: go to Billing → Manage Subscription inside the app, which opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, and cancel there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that. Cancelling is just as easy as signing up.

Refunds: payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

Price changes: if we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price takes effect on your next renewal.

6. Free Plan & Plan Limits

The Free plan is subject to usage limits described on our pricing page. We may adjust plan limits and features from time to time; we'll do our best to notify you of material changes. Excessive or abusive use of any plan, including the Free plan, may result in throttling or suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

Cnct and its software, design, and branding are owned by us. You retain ownership of the content you create in your automations (keywords, reply templates, messages). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the service for you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cnct is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, that any particular message or reply will be delivered, or any particular business results (such as increased sales, followers, or engagement).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount of fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. See our Data Deletion page for what happens to your data after termination.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COMPANY_STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
